How to make a Cart Coffee Table {inspired by Restoration Hardware}
Industrial wood-cart coffee tables are a hot trend right now but they can be pricey. Make your own at the fraction of the cost!
This idea came from Addicted 2 Decorating blog and they built a factory cart-style coffee table out of old cedar fence pickets. And to think it started from these...
I do love how the aged wood looks as a coffee table. It has a natural gray distressed and rustic look.
The rope pull handles add character to the coffee table. To me, this extra detail actually "makes" the table.
Then they added 4 rolling casters to the bottom of the finished coffee table.
They built it taller than the average factory cart. This cart measures 18" tall, which is a standard coffee table height.
The finished product in a living room. It looks great! What do you think, do you want one? I know I sure do!
