Favela Painting

Dutch artists Jeroen Koolhaas and Dre Urhahn perform a vibrant form of charitable art they call “Favela Painting“.  A favela is a Brazilian shanty town that houses the city’s poorest citizens. The forgotten shanty towns have been given new life when the  duo invite locals to join their art team and re-invent their neighborhood. Read more at the coolist. An excellent initiative for a good cause. If you don't like it - change it, don't desert it!
