Our dining room is fantastic for space. Unfortunately to my husband, it has also become my sewing area.
The dining room chairs are at their end of everyday life. Which brought me to look online for some new dining table chairs. As always, I hopped over to the over 200 CSN sites, in particular their Modern dining room furniture , for some ideas. I about swooned when I found these dining room chairs:
They have a Victorian dreaminess mixed with a modern flair. Oh how I love these chairs!
The Captain would prefer I use half of our bedroom since it is more room then we can use, which would make sewing a night time only activity. He sleeps during the day, so truly it's not an option that would work for me....
I finished the peasant top and have just embroidery to do. It will go to Panda since the bottom hem is not long enough for my comfort. I am also finishing up an adorable lemon print skirt with bottom ruffles for Frog.
The fabric looks MUCH better in person. {the ruffles are a yellow with small white polka dots}
She is in the skirt loving stage and has begged for skirts she can romp & twirl in.

So it looks like my weekend is filled with sewing....in the dining room. Just wish I had those dreamy chairs to sit in as I fill the order of skirts.
