I recently came across "Still Life: Bent Objects" - a collection of photographs of objects that have been altered with wire, putting them into a new context and creating comical scenarios. These assignments must of been successful, as the first thing I thought of is how they are an example of semiotics, just replacing the use of text with wire to create context.
Enjoy!
