Salads and Chocolate

The Salad Shop in UOB Plaza 2 in Singapore, designed by the ever-so-talented Asylum studio, is quirky and neat! Oversized forks and spoons act as window masks, while each stool features a different illustration from a large selection, while the scenic fabric lampshades light the otherwise industrial finished clean interior.

Asylum are also the studio responsible for the fantastically cool Chocolate Research Facility store interior and packaging design (below). The interior looks like a research lab (it's all in the name) and the packaging changes for the different chocolate ranges (exotic has animal print whilst classic series has pastel colour block and nut series plays with type). The furniture is good enough to eat, designed to look like giant chocolate slabs, and in the centre of the clinicallt white store, chocolate melt seeps through the center piece.
