I listen to everything

Sadly, Spotify does not work in Cyprus (not for free anyway...). I have however, finally found something that comes pretty close - I listen to everything.

I LISTEN TO EVERYTHING is a music website and blog designed to help average music lovers keep their music collections fresh and up-to date. It has loads of great playlists to stream, with funky remixes!

Freebies: scrapbook fonts

Yayyy...I'm a huge fan of free, and always seem to get great things for free (?). By now you should also know I'm a big fan of sharing, and love to share through my blog. Sharing is caring after all! These are from Kevin and Amanda.

Greek Font Society

The Greek Font Society aims to contribute to the research of Greek typography.On their site they offer free downloads of old favourites Didot, Bodini and also a nice selection of modern greek typefaces Neohellenic, and Theokrittos (based on engraved letters). Say thank you and don't forget to credit GFS.

They also have a few publication out, I particularly liked Pindar's Olympian Odes which is in greek and english. Pindar was one of the greatest classical Greek poets.  The publication serves as a study of literature as well as typography as it uses a digitized version of Cellierges (calligraphy). ZPi free fonts

Designer Lyle Zapato very kindly shares Truetype fonts he created for his own work. The fonts are all based on hand-drawn lettering from historical works (posters, ads, magazines) and each is named after its source material as a tribute. You can download these at this link. Don't forget to credit the designer.

Chunky free font

A free font from FontFabric, all in the name of football. No cyrillic or greek characters, but still pretty neat none the less. It reminds of chunky woodcut letters and shares the same qualities as the Fifa World Cup 2010 logo. Looks like the extended alphabet of the logo actually. Nice work FF, thanks for sharing.
